How to be your “best you” when you feel no one cares…
Following your dreams is something we easily tell others to do, but what we don’t consider is how hard it is to pursue that dream or chase after that thing in spite of others not resonating with the idea. We were gifted with this thing or idea and it starts to create a burning desire inside of us, but how do we allow ourselves to be our “best you” when everything around us seems to be telling us otherwise?
When you think about it I’m sure your “best you” has that thriving thing, or finally made the biggest sale, or enrolled in that life altering course, but in your current eyesight that’s not who you are or where you are right now…or is it?
Speaking as someone who has reinvented themselves and their brand many times, it definitely requires a lot of faith and some trial and error. A lot of the biggest brands have an origin story that involves a solo dreamer taking a chance on themselves, so why not bet on you?
For me this journey started in 2020, like a lot of us, my wellness and self discovery journey began during the height of COVID. I was looking for answers or more from my life and it was the perfect time to find it. The world was closed down, so it forced me to go within. And to my surprise it’s proved to me time and time again that my dreams are right within my reach, all I have to do is take the first step. It may not come with the most alluring fans/supporters, but literally if I wanted to be this “best” version of myself, all I had to do was be it, and life/the universe would fill in the rest.
It’s been going on 5 years now and that first initial leap has led me to where I am now. I still find myself going hard when I feel “no one cares” but somethings changed, my initial fears or ego derived trip of “needing” others presence to validate my purpose has drastically shifted. I find myself now leading more with my confidence that “one day” what I have to offer will land at the right person’s feet.
I now lead with my intention + passion because I hate to say it, but people can be fleeting. Yes. You read that correctly. We as people will know something is good for us, or that we resonate with something and will still choose to walk by, move on, or ignore all the signs pointing towards us.
Shifting your perspective away from the physical and placing it into the internal will always ground you into the present and who you’re wanting to be/show up as. Your “best you” was created when the idea was placed in your lap , you just have to remove your ego/imposter thoughts and fully immerse yourself in what you believe to be true. Again I know easier said than done, as I sit here fighting back tears, but there’s really no simpler way to put it. What stands in-between you and who you want to be/attract is yourself and timing. Focus on what you can control, and lead with your passion + purpose.
So if you’re still wondering how you will keep going without the support of others, the answer is simply, piece by piece. Not everyone will inner stand or see the vision the first time, but that doesn’t mean it’s not important or needed. You never know if what you’re trying to offer just needed the support and belief of Y O U.
